Exectronics’ surge protection panels are a vital part of the power chain, designed to protect railway and industrial systems from both environmental and man-made surges. Our industry-leading IVAP panels (Inductor Varistor Arrestor Panels)—also known as PRF —are commonly integrated into rail location cases to safeguard sensitive equipment and prolong the life of critical devices.

These panels use specially designed coils to suppress and limit surges and lightning strikes, redirecting excess energy through hermetically sealed spark gaps to ground. Available in 120VAC, 240VAC, and 415VAC configurations (with custom voltages available on request), and rated from 15A to 1000A, our IVAP/PRF panels offer unmatched protection and reliability for high-performance installations.
